Q. Is there somewhere I can find the layout of the school online?

A. Yes, on our website there is an MDI High School Renovation Project link, and under the Floor Plans and Rendering tab, you will find existing and proposed floor plans. They will be updated with input from staff, students, and the community throughout the process.

Q. While the library is being renovated where are the HCTC kids to wait for their classes?

A. The library and classrooms will be renovated over the course of several summers. The stair tower addition and administrative office/entry will be constructed during the school year and a phasing plan will be shared on the website when the schedule is developed.

Q. Will the upstairs have new ventilation systems? 

A. Yes, a new central ventilation system is included in the project providing both ventilation air and air conditioning to the first and second floor classroom wing, library, updated special ed classrooms, and the administrative office renovation.

Q. Will the student lounge have some kind of access for after school?

A. Yes, the student lounge area will be available to students after hours at the discretion of the administration.
